Re: England - Australia Ashes
Obviously Australia are rightly favourites with the bookies. Having just won the world test championship, it will be very embarrassing for them, if they don't win The Ashes in England, for the first time in 20+ years.

They have an excellent pace attack, very competent, multi national batting line up and a very underrated spinner in Lyon (50 test wickets at under 30 in England). Probably the best attack Bazball has faced and the Aussies will have the Duke's ball, in English conditions.

In 2019. England struggled, with bowling, past their opening attack (Woakes 3rd most English pace bowler wickets for England with only 10). I see the same this year, with injuries (Archer, our best bowler last time, still broken) and we certainly won't get 5 tests each out of Broad and Anderson and I don't see Stokes bowling much, if at all.

Although England's batting has certainly produced under Bazball, Bairstow will be found wanting against the Aussie attack. Be surprised if he scores a single century, in the series. And throw in a dropped catch and a missed stumping or two.

The convicts should win 3 - 1, with a weather affected draw. If they can't, they should retire from test cricket and stick to more insular pastimes, such as abusing their indigenous population, hosting barbecues and being homophobic racists.

Can’t see past an Aussie series win, disappointingly. I think we will really struggle to bowl them out.

Looking forward to this, love as Ashes series.

Anyone seen 'The Test' on prime?

Excellent series about Justin Langer having to rebuild Australian cricket after 'sandpapergate'.

Would highly recommend.
